Our strength grows each time we find the edge between comfort and discomfort and push against it.
Resilience is birthed each time we lean into that edge.
The lean is the source of the growth.
The decision to lean is the birth of that source and takes the most courage.
A perfect example is the sculpture of King David by Michelangelo. Michelangelo chose this moment in time to capture David’s most courageous act. It was the instant of his decision to take on Goliath.
